M12 Central Motorway
TfNSW M12 Central Motorway
The motorway dual carriageway has a wide median to allow for future widening to six lanes; and safety barriers will be placed along the length of the motorway.
Emergency stopping bays and emergency crossovers will also be at regular intervals.
The motorway will increase road capacity, reduce
congestion, and improve travel times and freight
movement in and through Western Sydney.
A shared user path with lighting will provide an active transport link along the motorway and eastward to the M7.

The toll-free Sydney Gateway motorway, a design and construct road project that links the airport precinct, Port Botany and the surrounding road network to the newly opened St Peters Interchange. The project has been divided into two separate contracts to address the nature of works, project funding, the numerous stakeholder interfaces and the innate risks.

The project includes approximately 1.5 kilometres of road construction and intersection improvements at 6 junctions, with bus priority measures at the key intersections. The road frequented by heavy commercial vehicles, will be widened and upgraded from a two-lane partially divided carriageway to a four-lane divided carriageway. Other works include footpath upgrades, drainage improvement works, and property access
adjustments.

Project 2B, 2C, 3 & 5 is for the construction of a new riverside road alongside Cooks River, widening of a section of Cooks River Drive, and a new pedestrian cycle bridge connecting to Level 1 of the existing multi-storey car park.

The CBD and South East Light Rail is a new light rail network for Sydney. The line spans 12 km from Circular Quay to Sydney’s south eastern suburbs. A tunnel
underneath Moore Park and a bridge over the Eastern Distributor roadway facilitate access to Randwick,
Kensington and Kingsford.
Light rail redefines travel through the city, decongesting key routes through the CBD and linking up with important locations such as the sporting and entertainment facilities in Moore Park and Randwick, along with the University of NSW, TAFE and hospital precincts. The project design has increased pedestrian space through the creation of a pedestrian boulevard in the CBD and pocket parks in Surry Hills.

The Port Botany Redevelopment Project was to build the civil infrastructure for the automation of the container terminal using AutoStrads®, the expansion of the recently reclaimed land by Sydney Ports Corporation (SPC) adjacent to the current Patrick Stevedores Port Botany Terminal

TfNSW Pacific Highway, Kundabung to Kempsey
The Kundabung to Kempsey section was built along the same alignment as the old highway. One of the major challenges for construction of the new highway was to maintain safe traffic flow for the highway while working in close proximity. The key features of this section of highway upgrade are the new interchange at Kundabung Road, the new rest areas at Barrys Creek and the Heavy Vehicle Inspection Station. The new interchange provides safer access on and off the highway and improved access to local roads.
The Kundabung to Kempsey section was built along the same alignment as the old highway. The Gold Coast Rapid Transit Stage 1 construction
commenced in early 2012 and service operation began in 2014. The first stage of development consisted of 13 km of light rail to service the fast growing commercial, retail and recreational centres between Southport and Broadbeach. It also passes through the key tourist area of Surfers Paradise by connecting the Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) to Broadbeach South.
